KH Studio is a leading experience design company that specializes in architecture and interior design services. It was founded by husband-and-wife team Ahmed Khalifa and Shereen Helmy in 2005, who continue to operate the business from its headquarters in Heliopolis, Egypt.
At the core of KH Studio’s design philosophy are two mutually interlinked aims: to conceptualize spaces that are functionally superior and aesthetically unparalleled. These two aims are the pillars upon which KH Studios bases its work, steered by its passionate founders and its expert team of employees.
KH Studio – which is named after the founders, with K representing Khalifa and H representing Helmy – prides itself on designing spaces wherein people can live, eat and work. The bulk of their workload at the moment is private residences and commercial projects such as restaurants and office space. Their portfolio includes Cake Cafe, which they transformed from an abandoned gymnasium into an airy, light-flooded inviting space with the clever use of prominent lighting and complementary accessories.
KH Studio also worked on the exclusive Japanese restaurant Kazuko in Katemeya, where they opted for a minimalistic interior design in order to create a refined space filled with subtle colour contrasts.
With each of the projects they complete, the team at KH Studios cements the credibility of the form and solidifies its reputation as a go-to firm for unique and innovative design solutions in Egypt.
